Celebrities are known for their lavish lifestyles but their expensive tastes don’t stop at luxurious villas and tropical holidays. Supercars are a vital part of being rich and famous and they’re not above showing off their sumptuous cars, whether it’s a luxury car rental or owned as part of a huge collection. From chic Aston Martins to sporty porsches, not all celebrities customise their cars, so you could rent the very same supercar that is prefered by your favourite actor, singer or sporting hero.

Janet Jackson - Aston Martin Vanquish

The youngest member of the Jackson family follows in James Bond’s trail of dust and drives an Aston Martin Vanquish. It was 007’s car in the film Die Another Day. The timeless classic boasts a V12 engine and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. Pierce Brosnan is a fan, after playing Bond in the movie he bought one, but unfortunately lost it to garage fire at his Malibu home in 2015.

Rod Stewart - Ferrari 458 Spider

Rod Stewart is quite proud of his Ferrari 458 Spider and has been spotted zipping around town numerous times. The singer also has a Range Rover Sport and has been seen being chauffeured around in a Rolls Royce Ghost. Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world is also a fan of the Ferrari 458, so it clearly has impressive acceleration.

Cristiano Ronaldo - Lamborghini Aventador

 Real Madrid’s superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s annual salary of $35 million means he can afford to indulge his love of supercars. Indeed, the Portuguese football phenomenon has amassed a collection of 19 cars which include two Bentleys, three Ferraris, a Porsche 911 Carrera 2S, an Audi R8, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Bugatti Veyron and his latest, a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.

Kim Kardashian - Bentley Continental GTC

Reality TV queen Kim Kardashian might not seem to be the epitome of class, but she has fantastic taste in cars. She’s owned many supercars but her preferred choice when driving around upmarket Los Angeles locales is her blacked-out Bentley Continental GTC. Other cars in the Kardashian hall of fame include a Porsche Panamera, a Ferrari 458, and a Rolls Royce Ghost. She also bought husband Kanye West a Lamborghini Aventador to complement his much-loved Mercedes SLR.

Simon Cowell - Rolls Royce Phantom

 British entertainment mogul Simon Cowell has a Ferrari 360 Modena, a Bentley Azure (convertible) and a Rolls Royce Phantom. Sir Elton John - Maserati Quattroporte

The internationally famous singer Elton John has a bit of an automotive obsession. He’s owned many classic and rare cars from Jaguar E-Types to Ferrari Testarossas, Rolls-Royce Phantoms to Bentley Turbo Rs and Aston Martins. Last year, he auctioned his Maserati Quattroporte for £27,500.

Patrick Dempsey - Mercedes SLS

The former star of Grey’s Anatomy has a Mercedes-Benz SLS which takes pride of place in his car collection. Clearly a fan of the German marque, his collection also houses a Mercedes SUV. Dempsey has combined a successful Hollywood career with that of a racing driver and at one point he owned eight cars. Actor Eddie Murphy and singer and avid car collector Jay Kay also drive Mercedes SLS.
